Species Area Curve

A species area curve shows that the cumulative number of plant species encountered changes with the area surveyed. A logarithmic graph of the data reveals a straight line which provides the constants. We used data collected in our survey, as well as other data, to compare the spatial patterns of local biodiversity with those of other communities.
