I was born March 9^th 1973, in Charleston SC. My parents are Mr. Lurain Yarbrough Jr. and Betty Jo Yarbrough. I have one older brother Lurain Yarbrough III, affectionately called "Buster".

My father is retired from the military (Air Force), thus I was raised in Europe, in the countries of Italy, and Germany.

Upon returning to the United States in 1989, I graduated from High School in Greenville SC. I graduated from SC State University in 1995, earning a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. My career in teaching began in the Fall of 1996 at Lakeview Middle School (where I am currently employed). It was at the end of that first year that I discovered I wanted more……………….

So I began my graduate studies at Furman University the Fall of 1998. I am now proud to say I graduated MAY 27 ,2000 with a M.A. in Elementary Administration.
