Our Tribute to John Hasse

There once was a man named John

Who Woke at the crack of dawn

To teach us GIS and such

He really did have the touch

For working with data and maps

Never taking heed of the need for naps

Motivating us to learn more

He definitely was not a bore

As we learned and learned and learned

But the fire inside still burned

And then we knew, it must be true

We had become GIS nerds too

On a slightly more serious note (not much more thoughJ )

John was a tremendous mentor for us all during our two weeks we spent with him. Right away we could see that this was going to be a very enjoyable project. John knows his GIS and Environmental Planning backwards and forwards and really knows how to teach it to others!

So John, thanks for all of the guidance, insight, leadership, support, humor, and that little bit of sarcasm you always managed to share with usJ !
