State Plan

The state of New Jersey has done some initial planning to determine the sensitivity of areas throughout the state. This includes factors such as density of population, environmental hazards, etc. Although the state plan does not forbid development in the areas outlined, it does give recommendations. These should be looked at and worked with in developing the site. This may make life easier when applying for permits or defending site plans in case they are challenged in court. GIS is capable of outlining these areas.
