Selection: Demonstrated commitment to student learning, the
desire to improve one’s teaching, the ability to work with diverse groups (both other teachers and students), and leadership potential are criteria for selection. In addition, the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship
Foundation is committed to selecting a diverse group of participants that reflect urban teaching: ethnicity, type of school, and student population served. There are 15 slots available. Applicants
