BioInformatics & Codon Expansion

Bioinformatics is the combination of biology, computer science, and information technology charged with the task of analysis and interpretation of various types of data including nucleotide and amino acid sequences. The activities which follow are designed to illustrate how bioinformatics can be used in the field of molecular biology and evolution.

Visualizing Codon Expansions PART A Input DNA sequences into an alignment program (Bioserver)
PART B Translate DNA into Amino Acid sequences (Translation Tool)
Modeling Evolution PART C Compare 2 gene regions of different mutation rates in an evolutionary tree (Bioserver)
