Procedure Page

1. Transfer sequencing product to a 1.5 ml tube.

2. Add 25 μl of molecular biology grade isopropanol.

3. Centrifuge at the maximum speed for 30 minutes.

4. Remove the supernatant liquid with a micropipettor and discard.

5. Add 25 μ of molecular biology grade isopropanol to the tube.

6. Centrifuge at the maximum speed for 15 minutes.

7. Remove the supernatant liquid with a micropipettor and discard.

8. Allow the contents of the tube to air dry by leaving the tube open on your bench top.

9. Re-suspend products in 2.5 μl of loading dye/ formamide.

10. Place the tubes in a 95° C heat block for 3 minutes.

11. Immediately place the tube on ice. Allow it to cool for 3 minutes.

12. Centrifuge briefly.
