| Reflections 3....
A foundation of the scientific method and inquiry learning will help students understand the science involved with global warming. What's more, inquiry experience fosters the inquisitiveness to explore the inner workings of atmospheric change, thereby identifying the panoply of variables that are intertwined in the issue. |
| As our group brainstormed relevant background knowledge, phases of matter, astronomy, and nutrient cycles immediately came to mind. By understanding phases of matter students will know the nature of gasses. Astronomy will provide students some information on how the planets interact in our solar system, and ultimately lead to the inner workings of the Earth's atmosphere. Students will also gain an idea of how increased CO2 emissions are sequestering carbon in gaseous form. |
| In summary, each classroom application of atmospheric modeling and global warming inquiry will vary. What needs to stay constant are the scientific method, exclusion of bias, and search for truth. |
