Global Warming: A Science/Math Approach

Preview the following pages and evaluate your students' math and science level.  This activity is written to encourage students to face challenging concepts by breaking them down into simpler components..  It begins with an equation used to evaluate the energy budget for Earth.  The activity  includes a guide that leads the students through  a problem solving section.  At the end of the activity, the student is asked to return to the challenging equation and to explain what it means and its relevance to the global warming issue.
