Web Quest References
Web quest is a teaching strategy developed by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University. There are extensive numbers of websites that provide examples and directions on construction this web-based inquiry teaching strategy for all grades and subject areas. Here are just a few of these links.

I (bha) have found that even the greatest lesson will fail to teach the students what I wanted them to learn. Constructivism offers at least an explanation of why students may take home a different message then we intended. This webpage will provide links to the learning theory behind WebQuests.

Collaborative Learning References
Collaborative (cooperative) learning is built into our WebQuest.  We used the jigsawing strategy to build  interdependence between the students on the team.
