Example lessons available on this site:

1. Climate Graphs:  This lesson can show you how to compare data characteristics and locations by  mapping climate graphs.  The data consist of monthly temperatures and precipitation.

2.   Earthquakes Around the World:  This lesson allows you to investigate earthquake patterns and how they relate to tectonic plates.

3.  Mapping Globe Temperature ObservationsThis lesson shows you  how to use GIS to analyze data on the Globe Program website.

4.  Investigating Africa: This lesson investigates Sub-Saharan Africa by using comparing and contrasting demographics of countries and interpreting patterns of living standards.

5. Are All Beaches the Same?:  The lesson show students how grain size of sands differs in separate locations.  Can your students tell them apart?
