Biographical Information
Howdy! My name is Matt Hays. I teach AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Environmental Science at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have taught for 17 years in Academy School District. I also teach a course entitled, “Wilderness and Creative Expression.” This course utilizes the philosophies of various wilderness advocates and teaches their ideals in association with literature, photography, painting, sculpture, and music. I coach both the men’s and women’s tennis teams in addition to my duties in the classroom.
In my personal life, I am interested in my wife and children, mountaineering, rock climbing, photography, and anything else outdoors that I can accomplish.
