Currently working and living in   Fort Lauderdale, Fl.

High School: Windham High School, Willimantic, Ct

College: University of Massachusetts/Amherst

             Major: Microbiology, 1983; BA

                       Science & Technology Education 1987; M. Ed.

Awards & Recognitions: U.S. Department of Education Fellowship 1985-87; National Science Foundation Fellowship 1995-1996; Woodrow Wilson National Foundation Fellowship 2000

 

Work Experience: My professional work experience includes social work (1983-1985), teaching math & science at community colleges (1983, 1996-Present), administration (director of new student program at UMass 1992-93, manager of two federally funded drug and alcohol prevention program) and teaching middle/high school science.
