The major emphasis is to help all teachers to link instructional practices with district and state standards, standardized tests and performance assessments. My areas of expertise are with inquiry based instruction, and the national and state science standards.

Chairperson, International Activities Committee of the National Association of Biology Teachers. The committee provides a forum to encourage biology teachers to have international experiences.
