Graduated from Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, VA in 1977 with a B.S. in Health and Physical Education. I was Athletic Director and Health and PE instructor at Freeman Jr. College in Freeman, SD for four years before returning to school at Oregon State University to obtain certification in Biology Education. I have been teaching science at North Salem High School in Salem, OR since 1984.
