Background information: I was born and raised in New Mexico. I taught for 3 years on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Sanders, AZ. I have also worked for NMSU as a Lab Aide, Graduate Assistant, and Special Programs Coordinator.
My love is agriculture and my life is teaching so I decided to combine the two and make a career for myself. I am currently teaching at Gadsden High School as an agricultural science and physical science teacher. My goal is to develop an agricultural science curriculums that my school will except as alternative science credit. In other words I want to bring the traditional science courses into the Ag. Science classes, which will give way for a more applied method of learning science. So if anyone has any ideas or philosophies on this subject I would love your input and thoughts.
Thanks!!!
