Journal: A Costa Rican Adventure
WOW ... I never knew that some leaf miners deliberately
chose the locations to lay their eggs or that leaf node bats pick certain
fruits to eat. This and many more things I experienced .
Never in a million years could I have captured the image of the
lush tropical beauty of the flora and fauna of La Salva where you can walk
trails experiencing the grandeur of the Morpho butterfly, the calling of
the macaws, snorting of the peccaries, chirping of frogs and quiet often
the howling of monkeys or possibly in another case the bombardment
of fruits by monkeys.. Their way of advising us to leave..
With a canopy over my head, the sounds of life abounding and the
colours and smells of the forest surrounding me I truly was able to experience
beauty in this world... The Rain Forest....May we all do our part in protecting
it!
