Biography:  I am married and have one son and have been teaching for thirty years with experience at k-12 and the college levels. My teaching career extends to four states, Alabama, Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Undergraduate majors in Chemistry and Biology at Shorter College were followed by graduate degrees in Science Education at Virginia State University and North Carolina State University. I currently teach chemistry and conduct in-service professional development activities for teacher via the 2-way audio/video distance learning program. I addition, I also broadcast special programs to students. I will be able to use my Costa Rica experiences both in inservice teaching and ad hoc student broadcasts.
