To my esteemed colleagues:

Meddie had written kudos to the Princeton group from John Schmidt at
NOAA. I wasn't sure if he was aware of the Rutgers ESI, so I wrote
him about the work done at Rutgers, since it fits in so well with what
NOAA is all about & we linked to many NOAA sites. (I had worked with
John through the GLOBE program.)

He wrote:
"I must say that you folks have done a lot of good work, especially in
showing the important links to content standards. The work of teachers
like you . . . is critical in keeping other teachers up to date on
current science."

The work is impressive & useful, meeting the needs that I think we had
agreed upon from our first facilitators' meetings.
