  • Summary/Abstract
Measurements indicate that global mean surface temperatures have increased by about 1degree Fahrenheit (0.5 degrees Celsius) over the last 100 years.  Mounting evidence suggests that humans might be partially responsible for this global warming.  These activities are designed to give students a better understanding of  how human activities have changed the atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases and what impact this might have on climate change.  Activities are inquiry-based to get the students to start thinking and raising their own questions about the issue.  Students will be generating hypotheses, designing experiments, analyzing the results of their experiments, researching, and making predictions.
