STANDARDS
In developing the activities within this unit, a conscientious
effort was made to meet the goals of the National
Science Education Standards by providing an environment which would
give an opportunity for all students to acquire knowledge and apply the
scientific information gained to not only everyday situations, but to those
they will encounter in the real world.
These standards were met by compiling different activities
the student experienced in using an inquiry based approach to develop the
conceptual understanding expected within the unit.
