Deb Noteboom

After 11 years in education, I spent this summer at the 1998 Woodrow Wilson Summer Institute on Global Warming at Princeton University.  The objective of the month long institute was to create a web product that would be an inquiry based project usable for science teachers in grades 5-12.

I have been a science teacher for the past 11 years. I received by undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Augustana College in Sioux Falls SD.  My master's degree is in chemistry education from South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD.  I have tacught in a wide variety of classrooms.  I have taught in Palm Springs, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Lennox, SD; and currently in Sioux Falls, SD at Roosevelt High School.

Besides teaching, I have been involved in developing curriculum for integrating algebra and physical science, developing professional development for teachers in my school district, and improving science curriculum in our school district.

Outside of school, my interests include reading, camping, gardening and baseball.
