Remember as you produce your web pages that your "main" one in your
folder (that may link to others) should be called "index.htm". This is
a special one that web servers look for first in a folder.
Please do not change settings or install programs on the computers.
Someone(s) has been dropping the number of colors to 256 on many
computers, which affects all other programs. We want "16 bit color"
which is MUCH more than 256.
Last call to clean out the files you want on the "Common" (M:) drive!
There is quite a bit that are taking up HUGE amounts of disk space. The
biology people have TIFF images from the Snappy's that are about 900
megabytes. Anything that is "personal" should be put on your H: drive.
As we run out of room, we'll have to do the housecleaning for you.
