(Global Rivers Environmental Education Network)

Resource Type:
Workshop / Educational Organization

Summary:
GREEN's mission is to improve education through a global network that promotes watershed stewardship.

The Global Rivers Environmental Education Network (GREEN) seeks to improve the quality of watersheds and rivers, and thereby the lives of people. GREEN uses watersheds as a unifying theme to link people within and between watersheds and to build an international network of people and institutions to encourage global sharing and cooperation. Programs are developed to foster cross-cultural sensitivity and respect for different ways of thinking, thus contributing to build a more caring and peaceful world.

(For those interested in CBL, note that GREEN will use e-mates and e-probes during the GREEN sessions at the Institute. The e-mate is a sturdy Mac labtop to which probes are attached to conduct monitoring.)
