Don't reply to the spam (was Re: OK to send e-mail?)

Dear ESI97 Alums and Faculty,

The cryptic message you recently received ("OK to send e-mail?") was not
sent by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation. It was a message from a junk
email outfit which was trying to harvest your email addresses. They
discovered the mailing list address from the institute's home page.

To remedy this problem, I've banned the offending company from all of
our mailing lists. Moreover, I've added "spam filters" which will
prevent any similar messages from getting through in the future.

In the mean time, don't reply to the message. This mailing list is for
discussion among yourselves, and visitors who want to ask you serious
questions.

Regards,
PB
