PHASE II: SEARCHABLE COMMON
POST / DISCUSSION AREA
Below you will find the (approximately) semi-weekly updates
of student / teacher / research team posts. All activity output is listed
here by subject, so you probably want to double-check your data & discussions
for accuracy & reasonability;> . To search all messages for a certain
character string, please load the entire ARCHIVE, then use your browser's
find function (usually under EDIT or FILE menus). To facilitate the constructive
participation of other users, data should be formatted according to protocols
described in each activity, & discussions along posted threads.
To join a discussion forum, or particular topical
thread, please highlight the contents of the message & copy them (usually
a menu option under EDIT). Click on THREADS below, and paste (also usually
under the EDIT menu;>) the letter contents into the main body of the mail
message form . Now enter the name of the forum or thread you wish to send
your comment to in the SUBJECT HEADER text field of the mail form (or a
new topical suggestion if you so desire). Introduce yourself in the first
line of your message, and your ideas or observations you wish to be published
for group consideration. THAT's IT:>!
This is our idea exchange system. Please don't just limit
your contribution to posting data: take a look at the data from other researchers,
& let us know what you think of their interpretations in light of your
own data. Consider proposing joint investigations with other teams in different
locations, wether similar or dissimilar in one or more aspects of habitat.
This is where your action research component can really begin to take off:>!
It's also your best resource for solving implementation problems, or getting
some help from more experienced teams interpreting your results. Drop by
often, & stay in the loop:>!
