HABITAT MODEL AND WEB INTERACTION:
Above is our habitat model and the working platform which can be used to access other layers of outhe module. An outline format is also available which displays all subsections tabularly. At the first level is the habitat of islands and corridors itself.  It consists of  three interconnecting and interdependent aspects:

Because of the interactive nature of these aspects often a focus of study or particular activity may overlap between two or all three. To lend some organization to the access of activities we have associated two or three subdivisions to each aspect. When these subdivisions are accessed you will find some background information to place the subdivision in context within the overall study of  habitat islands and corridors, a list of definitions, and the various activities you can use with your students.  Because of the interactive nature of the components of  habitat, we have tried to cross reference definitions and activities to other subdivisions where the connections are most obvious.
