Topic : How to make a Hot link for an URL (WWW) using Netscape's Composer
1. Brief explanation. If you are using Netscape Communicator, this is an active HTML and as such is not editable. When you open a page in Netscape's Composer, you will view it as it was composer and as such can be edited. Of course you can not change what is actually on the website, but you can use Save as . . . to save an edited document on your own machine. The object of this tutorial is to place an URL (website address) on the page it. While in the Composer mode, it will not be active until you save it and open it in Navigator. Try this, open this page in Composer. To do this in Navigator, go to the pull down File menu Open Page (it highlights). In the window type and be sure to check "open in Composer":
http://woodrow.org/teachers/esi97-02/UOPtorch/GISresources/Hotlinks.htm.
