The last view shows clearly the relationship between the locations of earthquake epicenters and volcanoes. The earthquake epicenter view or the epicenter view with superimposed volcanoes clearly delineate plate boundaries. Depending on grade level and learning objectives, the instructor may choose to provide a view showing plate boundaries or to allow students to create the plate boundary view using the ArcView GIS software.
The project also includes photographic images
of several volcanoes that are "hotlinked" to particular volcano localities:
