This website is an outgrowth of a TORCH (Teacher
OutReaCH) GIS and Environmental Science workshop sponsored by the Woodrow
Wilson Foundation, held at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA
in July 1999. Workshop participants developed projects using ArcView
GIS software.
