An explanation about the abstracts

Greetings to you all,

Now that Paul has put the abstracts that I wrote on the server I hope that
you will all take the time to look at them and forward your comments to
Paul and to me.

[If you haven't visited the esi home page recently I encourage you to do
so soon. There have been many updates. Thank you Paul.]

I would like to explain how the abstracts came about. In early November I
presented a session at the NY State Science Teachers annual convention. In
order to show people what we had accomplished I took the introduction from
the different web pages and compiled something that resembled an abstract
for each project. These abstracts became part of the hand-out that I gave to
each person who attended my session.

I hope that as you read the abstract about your project you will find a
fair representation of your work . If not, just let me know and changes
will be made as soon as possible.

I know that if we had been asked to prepare an abstract, each group would
have done so. However, that wasn't the case!

Hope to hear from you soon.

Best wishes for a nice Thanksgiving holiday.

Linda Padwa
