Two activities are included here. The first is a KWL activity that
is used to introduce the topic and also to assess what students have learned.
The second is a lab that has students investigate automobiles as a source
of carbon dioxide and other pollutants.
As students have seen in the past two activities, humans are contributing
to a rise in CO2 concentrations which seems to be contributing to a rise
in temperature. The two activities included here let students investigate
what changes might be brought about by this increase.
