Veradene: Greetings! To address one small part of your questions
from my perspective, I have posted a lot of material re STELLA on my
educational web site at

http://hoth.gcn.ou.edu/~esse/esse/ouesse.htm

This is not a perfect solution, but the High Performance Systems
folks have a good runtime version of STELLA that will go a long way
for introductory purposes. My web site tells you how to down load
it. I have also put up a suite of models that you can try, some of
which you saw in part this past summer.

We have not put a lot of glitz on the site, but have focused on making
it content rich. Let me know if you have any difficulty accessing or
downloading the materials. Feedback and comments are appreciated.

John
