Team #5 has decided to stay with the GLOBE Program as our summer project.
Both Jean Burch and myself are already GLOBE teachers and I am a member of
the GLOBE team as a GLOBE lead teacher and as a "teacher/educator". What we
would like to do this summer is to learn to incorporate the use of CBL's and
TI83's into the existing GLOBE protocols as well as possibly design a
prototype for an atmospheric protocol; i.e. ozone, which can be developed K-12.
Every school in our district (13 total) is involved in the GLOBE Program and
it is the hope of both Jean and myself that our work this summer will not
only benifit she and I as environmental science teachers, but also will be
useful for all of our teachers, K-12, within our district.
We are looking forward to recieving more information on the GLOBE "project"
ideas and hope that ours will be a complimentary fit for the summer institute.
We can hardly wait to meet and greet everyone!!!
