Greetings from "the good life" state -- Nebraska!!

This is team #8 reporting for duty.

Contact person (me)
Lee Peterson, Sixth Grade Teacher, Dawes Middle School, Lincoln
Our school has approximately 500 students, grades 6-9. There is one
sixth grade team consisting of 100 students. This year my primary areas
of responsibility are math and science.

Teammate:
Ed Brogie, THE High School Science Department, Laurel/Concord High
School, Laurel
Ed's school has approximately 400 students, grades K-12. There is one
high school science teacher (yep, it's Ed!).

Our major strength, as a team and as individuals, is the art of
procrastination. So, it shouldn't surprise you that we haven't decided
on a project yet. However, we would like to design something that can
be expolored by students at a variety of levels (elementary, middle
school, high school, beyond). We are also very interested in satellite
imaging.

We have one question?
With so many of our colleagues coming from Hawaii, wouldn't it be
cheaper to hold the institute there? =)

Aloha,
Lee
