Jeff,

Several of the activities being presented this summer should fit in great
with your
local issues: the GREEN activities focusing on water quality, the STELLA
modeling,
the GIS, GLOBE field measurement activities, etc. Mark Johnson, the faculty
team-leader
is a geologist with lots of experience dealing with erosion, sedimentation,
etc... in
tropical fluvial and coastal environments. He should be of great help.

I grew up in a tropical island environment much like where you are - in the
Caribbean.
I look forward to working with you too.
