ASSESSMENT

 National Science Education Standards
 
These are the standards that our project incorporates.

Standard 1:
    Science as inquiry- Students design and complete a scientific investigation in which they apply inquiry skills to find a biological indicator of water quality.
Standard 2:
    Physical Science-Students will measure temperature and dissolved oxygen at the test sites.
Standard 3:
    Life Science- Students will make a correlation between insect larva population and dissolved oxygen.
Standard 4:
    Earth and Space Science- Students will use a GPS unit to pinpoint the location of the test sites.
Standard 5:
    Science and Technology- Students will develop a system model utilizing STELLA.
Standard 6:
    Science in Personal and Social Perspectives- Students will evaluate a biological indicator that determines water quality.
