This section of the project involves
any one or any group that is interested in monitoring their neighborhood
's river. You can use this website to store your data for many purposes.
Here are a few ideas:
1.
Compare your own data over time to notice gradual, dramatic or seasonal
changes.
2.
Compare data with other sites up or downstream from your own.
3.
Compare your data to that of other participants across the country.
4.
Notice if a factors change dependently or independently of each other.
In order to do these comparisons we
must all be using the same units of measure. Please be careful to
the enter data paying attention to the units.
The plan is to make your data accessible
in two formats. You will be able to call it up on a spreadsheet or in a
graph. That is why it is important to use a common graphing program
that this program will recognize. A few examples were offered in
the registraton page but more programs will work. Try it and see.
