Jump start your teaching by attending a regional or national science teachers convention this year. In 1982, I attended my first NSTA conference, and I was hooked! The number and diversity of the presentations made at these conferences is overwhelming. Teachers are the most creative and resourceful people in the world, and here is where they display their talents. Find out about new technology, teaching materials and methodology to make your classroom more exciting for both you and your students.
