I have lived in Texas all my life, I grew up
outside of Houston in Sugar Land. I loved school-especially when I had
good teachers, and I loved science. My biology teacher inspired me to
major in biology at Texas A&M University. I also earned my secondary
teaching certificate there. I student taught in San Antonio, TX, and
graduated in 1996.
I married my husband soon after graduation. We had met as freshmen at A&M. I briefly taught Physical Science in Bryan, and quickly moved onto teaching Biology & Aquatic science in Brenham. We still live within 30 minutes of College Station so that my husband can earn his masters degree in Anthropology. I am currently the sponsor of the BHS environmental club, coach the ocean bowl team, and any other number of smaller "jobs". |
