I've been teaching 31 years and still enjoy at very much. The first 7 years I taught grades 7-9, mostly life science and general science. Later on at the high school level, I taught basic environmental science and enjoyed it. I have developed curriculum for honors classes in Ecology, Biotechnology and Anatomy & Physiology. I've enjoyed many summer seminars especially an Earth watch Institute on the Bahamas working on whale and dolphin research.
I have tow grown daughters, one is applying to medical school this fall, the other is hoping to enter University of New Hampshire this fall. Besides working at the institute this summer, I'm taking a trip to Italy with my family. |
