PUBLIC INFORMATION ASSESSMENT
Purpose: To assess the student’s understanding of inappropriate and/or questionable uses of antibiotics.
Assignment Overview: The students will create a product to educate the public about inappropriate and /or questionable uses of antibiotics.
Student Assignment:
- Pretend that you were hired by the Center for Disease Control to create a product to educate people about “The Antibiotic Resistance Problem.”
- Identify your target audience such as medical professionals, the agricultural industry, general public, teenagers, etc.
- Create a pamphlet, brochure, poster, script for a brief radio advertisement or TV commercial.
- Your product must be informative, easy to understand and attention getting.
