INTRODUCTION
Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation's hosted its 1999 Biology Institute  at historic Princeton University.  Science teachers  from all over the United States are provided instructional research experiences from scientists at the American Museum of Natural History, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Pace University. The emphasis is on "BIODIVERSITY" .  We will attempt to answer the following questions:

• What is biodiversity?
• Why is it important?
• What are the threats facing our biodiversity?
• What are the solutions?
