We completed
an exercise in volumetrics which I found these exercises very useful
for teaching powers of tens and how to read graphs.

There was more discussion in biodiverstiy from "The Diversity of Life" by Edward O. Wilson's . Each group was assigned certain pages to read and then report back as to what was read and discussed within the individual groups.
Next we headed to a lecture entitled, The Four Main Threats to Biodiversity, given by Andrew Dobson. Interesting lighting in the lecture hall made it a challenge to stay focused on this stimulating lecture.
We began our web
page construction using netscape composer.
What an intellectually
exhausting week! Now for the weekend!
It's off to New York City! We were scheduled to visit the American Museum of Natural History. I can't began to tell all the exciting things I saw. It would take forever. Take a brief peek for yourself. View AMNH PHOTOS.
Saturday came but that didn't stop us. Work, work, and more work. More webpage construction and then the canoe trip with Tom Gorrell. We went out on canoes to get water samples and mud samples from the pond. It was a great adventure!
Sunday came. No work. Sunday went!
