As a science teacher of high school students I must be a well prepared professional. It is for this reason that I attend as many workshops as I can. During the summer of 1999 I attended the Woodrow Wilson Biology Institute studying biodiversity. The activities we developed are going to be very useful for my students and by the time you are reading this I will be actively using them with my  students.

Although I have been teaching for thirty years, I still love the work I do. I have taught students as young as 6th grade and as old as university level.  They have all been wonderful experiences. My present plans are to teach for 6 years and they will be six good years.
