• Graduate of  Hamilton College with a B.A. in Biology
• Senior research project "The Effects of Trampling on a Bog Community" presented as a poster at the 1994 New York State Natural History Conference

Other Interests and Links

•  National Outdoor Leadership School :  Took a NOLS backpacking course summer of '96 in Wyoming.  Tough rewarding experience.
•  Appalcian Mountain Club : Club dedicated to presevervation and education of the wilderness of the northeastern US.
