Today we started out in our favorite long-distance auditorium to process and explain our terrestrial habitat investigations.
Our next stop was down in the lab to study the concept of magnitude with a variety of materials to illustrate various charts of numbers of organisms.

This group is measuring out kidney beans to illustrate all the various groups of living things by percentage.
This group used animal crackers; yum yum!
Other groups used pinto beans...
Colored Rice...
Colored Water...
Sand...
Kidney Beans...
Rice...
and Popcorn!
