The Biology Institute application deadline was January 15, 1998. The
first phase of the Environmental Science Institute application process
has ended and we are contacting administrators who will recommend teams
of "turnkey" teachers.

>From January 26-30 the Algebra and Genetics TORCH Teams spent the
week in Brooklyn, New York, at Medgar Evers College. This is the
first year of a three-year collaboration with Medgar Evers College
and area high schools. By all accounts, it was a SUCCESS!
