-Tools of the modern biologists are now microarrays
and computers as well as the traditional tools of nets and microscopes
-The Genomic Revolution is changing high school and college biology curricula
-Biotechnology is producing biologists who are also mathematicians and
computer scientists
-All students must understand the science of genomics because they will
be deciding public policy that deals with genetic information in society.
-This institute has provided us with the hands-on
experience to better integrate biotechnology concepts and methods into
our middle school and high school curricula.
