Teachers as Gamers on Medium

Last week, WW announced the inaugural class of the Woodrow Wilson HistoryQuest Fellows. The Fellowship aims to use the power of games, play, and digital tools to transform both teacher practice and student engagement. WW Executive VP and COO Stephanie J. Hull explains on Medium the power that games can have in the classroom:

“Today’s interest in game-based learning, however, goes beyond making learning more entertaining. Its truly valuable aspect lies in design thinking: How do games deepen young people’s ability to discover the rules of complex scientific and social systems and then modify them, or use them to solve problems?”
